996
9 to 9,
6 days a week.
Not a work policy. A stance.
The default is 9 to 5: do what's expected, fill the hours, go home. 99six leans the other way and pushes while there's still value left in it. One more pass on the interface. One more hour on why the automation fails on Tuesdays. The hours are a side effect.
996 comes from a work schedule that got infamous, and people wince at it. We kept the number for where it points, not the hours it names.
