AboutENNL

The people behind the work.

99six was started by Aljereau and Mike. Strategy and engineering sit at the same table: the people who map how your business runs are the same people who build what replaces the manual parts. You talk to the team doing the work, from the first call to the last deploy.

StrategyFront-endDesign & interactionAI & automation

Aljereau turns messy workflows and scattered data into something people can use, and designs and builds the front end you touch. He started in finance and business operations, controlling budgets and building reporting for large organisations, and moved into designing the AI tools, automations and internal platforms that replace the spreadsheet work he used to do himself.

At 99six

  • Maps how your operation runs and where the friction sits
  • Decides what to automate, what to build and what to leave alone
  • Designs the interface and builds the front end: every screen, interaction and animation you touch
  • Your first call, and the person who checks the result against the brief

Background

  • AI strategy consultant, Rockfeather
  • Co-founder, Umon — skills mapping and CV platform
  • Co-founder and AI strategist, Nomu — local, private AI systems
  • Business intelligence for a public transport operator: cut reporting time 25%, found €180K in savings
  • Erasmus University Rotterdam

Back-endKubernetesDockerCI/CDLinux

Mike is a senior site reliability engineer. Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD: the layer most agencies outsource is the layer he has spent his career on. He builds everything behind the interface, and the infrastructure it runs on. It means what we ship survives the demo. It scales, it deploys cleanly, and it is still running in a year.

At 99six

  • Architects and builds the back end: data, APIs, integrations, the logic under every screen
  • Owns infrastructure, deployment and uptime
  • Makes the automation run without someone babysitting it
  • The reason "it works on my machine" never reaches you

Background

  • Senior site reliability engineer, freelance
  • Engineering at Umon, alongside Aljereau
  • Kubernetes and containerised platforms for organisations that cannot afford downtime

Why we do this.

We build 99six because we think software should pay for itself many times over, and most of it does not. Going further than the default when the work deserves it: that is the name.

Philosophy

Software should give back more than it takes.

You put in time, friction, repetition and complexity. What comes out should be worth more than that: hours back, and a process that stops fighting you. If a build does not return more than it costs, we do not build it.

Vision

Anyone can bring an idea from their head into the world.

Most good ideas die between the thought and the thing, because building is hard and the people who can build are busy. We want that distance to shrink until it is a decision, not a barrier.

Mission

Become the dev shop Europe calls first.

Not by size. By being the one people recommend because the thing we built is still running and still paying for itself.

One team.

Most projects fail in the handover: between the consultant who understood the problem and the developer who never met you. We removed the handover. Aljereau sits in on the engineering, Mike sits in on the first call. We turn down the projects that do not fit, and the ones we take get the whole team.

Understand

Strategy leads. Engineering listens for what's technically real.

Build

Engineering leads. Strategy checks every release against the brief.

Run

The whole team. It's live, it's monitored, and you know who to call.
